Our high standard education allows us to offer any route according to the conditions. We exchange information about current conditions on a daily basis and therefore get the most out of a day.
The training to become a Swiss certified mountain guide takes three years. The modular vocational training covers all areas of mountaineering, e.g. avalanche awareness, steep ice climbing, high alpine ski touring, sport climbing, mountaineering and alpine rock climbing, rescue techniques, medical first aid, nature and the environment, business management and communication.
In the middle year, mountain guide candidates work as aspirants and gain experience in leading mountain tours with the support of a qualified mountain guide. Every mountain guide is obliged to continue training himself further and can therefore reduce potential risk to a minimum.
Pay attention to the IVBV-UIAGM logo - it is the seal of quality for a Swiss certified mountain guide.
